As a pioneer in industry 4.0, Infineon collaborates with companies to develop and deploy advanced manufacturing technologies within their plant to achieve greater levels of efficiency, precision and control.
In 2020, the World Economic Forum (WEF) added Infineon’s smart factory in Singapore to its Global Lighthouse Network of advanced manufacturers that show leadership in applying I4.0 technologies.
Singapore is the first location for Infineon Co-Innovation Space that helps start-ups create prototypes or viable semiconductor solutions for commercial showcase quickly. It is a year-long commitment backed by technologies, expertise and guidance from Infineon to fast track the product development process of start-ups. To prepare for a digital future, Infineon will empower its workforce to be capable of deploying AI solutions in all business functions. More than 1,000 employees will be upskilled and around 25 unique AI projects will be deployed by 2023.
