Mr Eu Gene Goh

Senior Director, Design Engineering, AMD

Semiconductors Enabling The Metaverse

Eu Gene joined AMD in 2006 and currently heads the IC design team in Singapore. He leads a diverse team working on various aspects of chip design to support development of AMD’s high performance computing and adaptive solutions.

He started his career as a chip designer at AT&T Bell Labs working on ASICs and ASSPs for applications that include networking, connectivity and storage. He holds 9 patents for his work on high-speed redundant data storage arrays.

Eu Gene received his BEng in electrical and electronics engineering from University College London in 1993 and an MSc in advanced communications and digital signal processing from Imperial College London in 1995.

Mr Arun Manickaraj

Manufacturing Operations Analyst, Silicon Labs

A Manufacturing Operations Analyst in Silicon Labs since 2014, Arun has a total industry experience of 12 years. He did his post-grad in NUS Electrical & Computer Engineering, and his Bachelors in Electronics & Comunications Engineering.

 

Outside of work, Arun is Chairperson of the NUS Alumni Graduate Society (Under NUS Office of Alumni Relations), and
Alumni Mentor in NUS Graduate Student Society.

Mr Harikrishnan Valsala

A Digital Design Engineer in Silicon Labs since 2015, Hari has a total industry experience of 11 years. He did his post-grad in NTU specializing in IC design, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Instrumentation.


Outside of work, Hari is a sports enthusiast who loves playing table tennis and badminton, and volunteers as marshall for Singapore’s F1 GP.

In his extensive career, he has taken on various roles in process & equipment engineering, program management, strategic and industrial engineering planning. Currently, he leads the Advanced Technologies Strategy Department in Micron Singapore driving new production introduction and transfer. He is passionate in driving a diverse and collaborative workforce comprising talents with a strong growth mindset.

MinZong Hsieh (Min) is currently Senior Director of Manufacturing at ASM Front-End, and has more than 30 years of experience across the regional semiconductor and electronics industries.

 

Min started her career as an Engineering Assistant at General Motors and worked her way up to roles in Development Engineering, Process Engineering and then progressing to large-scale people and operations management in MNCs such as Philips, Rockwell Automation, HP and Delphi.
